Features

The platform, by capability

Grouped into areas so you can find what matters to your role quickly.

1 Mapping & survey data

Esri ArcGIS & photogrammetry

Esri ArcGIS is built into the workflow. View permits on a live map and overlay drone-survey photogrammetry on existing utility records, then toggle layers — photogrammetry, survey boundaries and utilities — on and off.

GIS & GPS permit tracking

View all live and issued permits in a GIS environment for real-time service information and boundary control, and track permits by GPS so they are issued at the place of work.

Drawing markup

Draw a dig boundary directly on the map to submit a permit, and mark up services not found on the survey — on the tablet or uploaded — with notes on the permit boundary.

2 Safety & verification

ID verification

The system knows if a user is inducted or briefed before any work, and recognises each person's access level, functions and permissions.

On-site photo validation

Known services must be located and photographed before work starts, with an 8-point check updated daily through the life of the permit.

Proven compliance

A complete, time-stamped audit trail aligned with HSG47 and CDM for assurance and reporting.

3 Data & reporting

Dashboard data analytics

Permit activity is presented in a dashboard for quick interpretation of responsibilities and wasted cost across delays, as-builts and cancellations.

Exporting reports

Produce reports from the dashboard with daily, monthly or yearly filters and export to CSV for analysis.

Data storage

Choose 50GB, 100GB or 200GB depending on permit volume; we recommend up to 50MB per permit for large PDF documentation.

4 Setup, access & support

System setup

Allocate roles and responsibilities to staff, giving each person the right functions and permissions in the system.

Client platform

Senior management or external clients can be granted view access to analyse the process with full transparency of real-time performance.

PDF upload & customisation

Upload all permit documentation as a PDF for approval before the permit goes live, and customise database entries to match each project's requirements.

Tablet account

The permit is presented on site tablets for issuers to brief and approve; the tablet stays with the excavator at approval.

Technical support

Every user can call our technical support helpline for guided setup, with a safe remote connection available depending on your needs.
